Publisher, Editor: Cynthia Reeser

Cynthia Reeser is the Founder of Aqueous Books, where she is Publisher, and Prick of the Spindle literary journal, where she is the Editor-in-Chief and Founding President on the board of directors. Her published nonfiction includes How to Write and Publish a Successful Children's Book: Everything You Need to Know Explained Simply (Atlantic Publishing, 2010, honorable mention in its category for the Independent Publisher Book Awards); and How to Publish a Kindle Book with Amazon.com: Everything You Need to Know Explained Simply (Atlantic Publishing, 2010). A poetry chapbook, Light and Trials of Light, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2010. She has published more than 100 reviews in print and online, and some of her poetry and fiction can be found at such places as Thunderclap, Dogzplot, Metazen, Glossolalia, Corium Review, Artifice Magazine, Liturgical Credo, and more. A dystopic short story is forthcoming in the Daughters of Icarus Anthology from Pink Narcissus Press Spring 2013. Another short story appears in Follow the Blood: Tales Inspired by The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew (Sundog Lit, March 2013). Cynthia is currently working on a literary short story collection inspired by fairy tale lore, and has almost completed a novel. She is a sometime visual artist and designer who occasionally puts on art shows. Also a medical editor and publications manager, she lives and works in the New Orleans area.
